Global multi-region checks for more reliable alerts

Built for teams that want fewer false alarms and faster confirmation.

Verify outages from multiple locations before you escalate, separate regional network issues from real downtime, and see how your service behaves across the world.

Multi-Region Checks

Verify every outage from multiple locations before alerting

We verify downtime from multiple locations before waking you up — so your alerts are always real.

  • Global Coverage Primary checks from Munich, with verification nodes across Europe, US, and Asia.
  • Quorum Confirmation Downtime is only confirmed when multiple regions agree — eliminating false alarms from local ISP hiccups.
  • Network Isolation Distinguish a regional network issue from a real server crash before you wake anyone up.
  • No More False Alarms Trust your alerts — when we page you, it means there is a real, globally confirmed problem.
  • Detection Tracking Every incident records detection timing (p50/p90/p99) so you can optimize your monitoring strategy.

How it works

How Verification Works

Single-location monitoring is prone to false positives due to transient network issues. Our quorum system solves this.

  1. Primary check fails (e.g., from Munich).
  2. System marks monitor as "Unconfirmed Down".
  3. Immediate requests are sent to verification nodes (e.g., Amsterdam, New York, Singapore).
  4. If verification nodes also fail, the monitor is marked "Down" and alerts are sent.
Verification — api.yourapp.com
Munich (primary) FAIL
Amsterdam FAIL
New York FAIL
Singapore FAIL
Confirmed DOWN — alerts sent

Quorum confirmation: 4/4 regions failed → real outage confirmed

Advanced Capabilities

Beyond Basic Multi-Region Checks

Professional features that make a difference

Adaptive Post-Incident Monitoring

After a monitor recovers, adaptive mode kicks in automatically to catch flapping issues that often occur right after service restoration.

  • Monitor recovers from downtime
  • Adaptive mode activates for 5 minutes
  • Checks run every 15 seconds instead of normal interval
  • Automatically returns to normal after window expires

Available on Starter, Team, Business, and Enterprise plans. Up to 10 monitors per account.

Detection Accuracy & Metrics

Track exactly how fast incidents are detected and confirmed, with comprehensive metrics to help you optimize monitoring.

  • detected_at – When first region noticed the issue
  • confirmed_at – When quorum was reached
  • detection_delay_ms – Time between detection and confirmation
  • Performance percentiles (p50, p90, p99)

Available across all plans. View metrics at /metrics/monitoring endpoint.

Sleep better with reliable monitoring

Stop waking up for false alarms. Multi-region quorum confirmation means every alert is a real outage.
