Frequently asked questions about integrations

How incident and uptime alerts flow into Discord, Slack, Telegram, Teams, Pushover, email and webhooks.

Yes! You can configure as many notification channels as you need. Send notifications to Discord, Slack, Telegram, Microsoft Teams, Pushover, PagerDuty, Google Chat, Mattermost, Rocket.Chat, SMS, ntfy, Gotify, Matrix, WhatsApp, voice calls, Jira Service Management, ServiceNow, email, and custom webhooks simultaneously.

We don't impose rate limits on our side, but keep in mind that Discord, Slack, and Telegram have their own rate limiting. We handle retries automatically if a notification fails.

Built-in channels use a standard format optimized for each platform. For full control, the generic webhook channel supports a custom body template — write your own JSON (or any other format) using the alert's subject, message, severity, timestamp, and fields as variables, so it plugs straight into Zapier, n8n, Home Assistant, Alertmanager, or your own service.

We automatically retry failed webhooks with exponential backoff. If all retries fail, you'll see the error in your notification channels dashboard, and we'll notify you via email.

Integration availability depends on your plan. Email is available on every plan, including Free. The Free plan also includes the self-hosted ntfy and Gotify channels. Discord, Slack, Telegram, Microsoft Teams, Pushover, PagerDuty, Google Chat, Mattermost, Rocket.Chat, Matrix, webhooks and SMS are available on paid plans; WhatsApp, voice calls, and enterprise ITSM integrations (Jira Service Management, ServiceNow) are available from Team and Business plans upwards. See the pricing page for the exact breakdown by plan.

Yes. SMS notifications are supported via Twilio, Vonage, MessageBird, and Esendex. You configure your own provider credentials in the notification settings, so messages go through your own account and sender ID.
