Importing from Instatus

Instatus is a status page and uptime monitoring product. When you outgrow its free tier, StatusPage.me gives you a path off it without starting over.

Getting Your API Key from Instatus

  1. Log in to your Instatus dashboard.
  2. Open your status page’s settings and find the API section.
  3. Generate (or copy your existing) API key.
  4. Note your page’s subdomain (the slug in your Instatus page URL) — the wizard asks for this alongside your API key.

Importing into StatusPage.me

  1. Open the import wizard from your status page’s Settings → Components, or the Import your data banner on a newly created page.
  2. Choose Instatus from the provider list.
  3. Paste in your API key and Subdomain.
  4. Click Validate & continue, review the preview, then Start import.
