Importing from Cachet

Cachet is a self-hosted, open-source status page — which also means you’re the one responsible for keeping the server it runs on patched and online. Importing your data into StatusPage.me gets you off that maintenance burden while keeping your incident history.

This provider brings over: components and incidents. See the full import wizard guide for the complete step-by-step flow — this page covers what’s specific to Cachet.

Getting Your API Key from Cachet

  1. Log in to your own Cachet instance’s admin dashboard.
  2. Go to Settings → API.
  3. Copy your API token (or generate one for your admin user).
  4. Note your Cachet instance’s URL — since Cachet is self-hosted, the wizard asks for this alongside your API token.
