Invite Links

Invite links are pre-provisioned account creation URLs generated by StatusPage.me administrators. They are used to grant a specific email address access to the platform with an account ready to use.
How Invite Links Work
- An administrator generates an invite link for a specific email address
- The recipient receives the link (typically by email)
- Clicking the link opens a page showing which email address the invite is for
- The recipient accepts the invite and is taken through a short account setup flow to set a password and finish onboarding
The link is single-use — once accepted, it cannot be reused. Links also expire after a set period.
Accepting an Invite
- Open the invite URL you received
- Confirm the email address shown matches yours
- Click Accept Invite
- On the next screen, set a password for your account (or connect a social login)
- Complete the onboarding wizard
After finishing setup, you are taken directly to your dashboard.
If Your Link Is Invalid or Expired
If the page shows “This invite link is invalid, expired, or already used”, the link can no longer be accepted. Contact the person or team who sent you the invite to request a new one.
Setting Up Your Account After Accepting
After accepting the invite you will be guided through:
- Secure your account — set a password or connect a social login (Google/GitHub)
- Onboarding wizard — optionally create your first status page and monitor
You can also complete setup later from your Profile page.
